Anthony Albanese’s Labor is ‘coming up short’ on experience to run Australia

Labor leader Anthony Albanese and his frontbench are lacking the “experience and record” it takes to be in government, according to Sky News host Peta Credlin.

“Albanese has held 27 Labor Party positions over the years but hardly ever a real job,” Ms Credlin said.

“Indeed, he’s only ever been a political staffer, or a Sussex Street official, aside from one year working in a bank when he was about 18 years old.

“When he was Immigration Minister, Chris Bowen was the best friend the people smugglers ever had – 398 boats arrived in our waters, on his watch, with over 24,000 asylum seekers risking their lives at sea, because Labor had restarted the trade, and then they couldn’t stop it.

“And don’t even get me started on Kristina Keneally – the Home Affairs minister if Labor is elected.”
