Sky News contributor Leisa Goddard says surely the best mascot Queensland can put forward for the 2032 Olympic Games “isn’t an Ibis”.
The Courier-Mail reports Queensland Sports Minister Stirling Hinchliffe suggested the bin chicken would be a good contender to represent the River City during the sporting spectacular.
“Is it really so hard when we have to discuss what the mascot will be,” Ms Goddard told Sky News host Peta Credlin.
