Australian company Tritium will build an electric vehicle charger manufacturing plant in the US state of Tennessee.
Part of the funding will come from Australian Government’s $250 million future fuels fund.
The new plant will produce up to 30 electric vehicle chargers per year and create 500 jobs.
US President Joe Biden says the announcement is good news for the world.
