Cold-Stunned Turtles Rescued From Texas Lagoon

Hundreds of cold-stunned turtles were rescued from Texas’s Laguna Madre estuary after a recent cold snap, Texas Parks and Wildlife said. This video, posted on Facebook by Texas Parks and Wildlife, shows hypothermic turtles being tagged and looked after. Texas Parks and Wildlife told Storyful that the turtles were rescued on the weekend of February 5 and 6. “We helped rescue over 300 cold-stunned sea turtles during the recent cold snap.
