‘Completely un-Australian’: NSW government ministers told not to use the word ‘mate’

Institute of Public Affairs’ Evan Mulholland says the NSW government’s new workplace behaviour advice cautioning MPs to avoid saying the word “mate” is “completely un-Australian”.

The training sessions have been organised by the NSW Department of Premier and Cabinet after a review into harassment and bullying by former sex ­discrimination commissioner Pru Goward.
