DP World Tour unveils Velocity Global partnership

  • Velocity now has deals with DP World Tour, PGA Tour, LPGA Tour, and Ladies European tour
  • ‘Work from Anywhere’ content series to feature some of the world’s best golfers

Golf’s DP World Tour has revealed a new multi-year partnership with employment solutions provider Velocity Global.

The partnership designates Velocity as the tour’s official global work platform and also includes on-course signage, promotion during TV broadcasts, as well as a presence across the tour’s social media platforms.

The DP World Tour and Velocity will also collaborate on a new multi-channel content series, which will feature some of the world’s best golfers, and their own ‘work from anywhere’ stories.

Velocity will additionally receive elevated partnership status at the BMW PGA Championship, DP World Tour Championship, and the ISPS Handa World Invitational, a mixed gender competition to run alongside the LPGA Tour and the Ladies European Tour (LET).

With the latest addition to its portfolio, Velocity is now the first company to hold partnerships with the four leading tours in men’s and women’s professional golf – the DP World Tour, the PGA Tour, LPGA Tour and the LET.

Max Hamilton, commercial director of the European Tour group, added: “The DP World Tour has a truly global footprint, with 47 tournaments across 27 countries in our 2022 schedule – and in Velocity Global, we have found a partner who matches that globality.

“As an ever-expanding tour, their global work platform will support our business operations for DP World Tour personnel working abroad.

“Their footprint in golf is substantial and given our close ties to the PGA Tour and both the LPGA and Ladies European Tour with our mixed events, Velocity Global can create synergies through its deep partnerships across golf’s biggest tours.
