Creative agency Momentum has expanded its team with the appointment of Louise Brugman as senior account director and John Kim as business development director.
Creative agency Momentum continues growth and transformation with the appointment of Louise Brugman as senior account director and John Kim as business development director.
Brugman, who comes from OpenAir Cinema, was previously with Clemenger BBDO Sydney and VMLY&R Melbourne. Her experience with the Visa brand will be invaluable in her role at Momentum for American Express, the agency’s longest-standing account. She will also be leading the newly appointed Wollondilly tourism business.
John Kim was also previously with Clemenger BBDO Sydney, as well as RedFuse in Hong Kong and JWT Sydney. In addition to overseeing account management at Momentum across brands including Nurofen, 3M, Dettol and AAP, Kim will be responsible for new business and growth strategies.
“Both Louise and JK are exciting additions to our team to help continue the transformational growth we’ve been focusing on,” said Imelda Hodson, managing partner of Momentum. “Even though Momentum is 25 years old, our new leadership team has transformed the agency with a startup mentality that our existing client partners are loving and is proving effective in our offering to new clients.”
These appointments follow a year of growth at Momentum with new business including tourism for Wollondilly Shire Council, Arnott’s Tim Tam, NSW Department of Education, and Australian Associated Press (AAP). The agency also launched Heineken’s experiential activity at Melbourne’s F1 Grand Prix and recently relocated to Sydney’s CBD after outgrowing their previous office space in Pyrmont.
