South Australia has recorded 4,349 COVID cases and four deaths in the latest reporting period.

There are 236 people are in hospital and 26 are being treated in intensive care.

More than 20,000 South Australians were vaccinated yesterday as the state focuses on freeing up more appointments.

The state government has also introduced a new financial incentive to boost jabs at GP clinics and chemists.

The 90 per cent vaccination milestone is expected to be reached at the end of this month.
